Russian “Alpha 2” Helmet
The “Alpha 2” helmet has a Br2 protection rating (according to specifications, it withstands 9x21mm (lead-core), TT (7.62x25mm), and PSM (5.45x18mm) rounds)
The helmet consists of four armor steel elements, approximately 2.5 mm thick (forehead, occipital, and two side panels), which overlap each other to provide all-around protection. Weight is approximately 1.6 kg. One-size-fits-all, from 54 to 62 cm.
The chin guard features shock-absorbing pads 10–20 mm thick to dissipate impact energy.
The set includes a removable cover made of water-repellent fabric.
